You qualify if you:
- an international student
- study full time
- Start your first semester at the University of Queensland

And you:
- Have met the conditions of your offer by the scholarship application deadline (you do not have to accept your full offer by the scholarship application deadline)
- show strong academic achievements in your previous studies.

We will take into account:
- Your ability to effect change and contribute to science (based on the personal statement you submitted in your Science International Scholarships application).
- Your academic performance (based on the academic transcripts you submitted in your application for the UQ Faculty of Science program).
